VITEEE 2006 - Examination Pattern

  VIT Engineering Entrance Examination will be held on 16th April 2006 (Sunday).
  The duration of the entrance examination will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
  Examination will be held between 10.30 am & 1.00 p.m.

The question paper will contain 4 [Four] parts as indicated below:

  PART-I - Physics
  PART-II - Chemistry
  PART-III - Mathematics
  PART-IV - Biology

  Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics students shall attend PART I, II & III.

  Physics, Chemistry and Biology students shall attend PART I, II & IV.

  Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology Students, can either attend Part I, II, III or Part I, II, IV
at their choice. Candidates attending Part I, II & III are eligible for all the 12 programmes. Candidates
attending Part I, II & IV are eligible for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics only.

  A candidate has to attend any 3 parts only as indicated above. If any candidate attends all the 4 parts, the valuation will be done for the first 3 parts only .The answers given in PART IV will not be considered for
valuation. 

  All Questions will be of OBJECTIVE TYPE.

  All the questions will be from the State Board of Higher Secondary school and CBSE syllabi only. 

  Each PART will have 40 questions. Each question will carry ONE mark.

  Each question will be followed by 4 alternative answers. The candidate has to choose and mark against
the correct answer as per the instructions given on the top of the question paper.

  NO negative marks for wrong answers.
