Eligibility

Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (FT) & MBA-MS (FT) programmes must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows: -

Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
Sciences - 55%
Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00
OR
Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks

Note: Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply.

Candidates must be 20 years of age as on 1st October 2006.
There is no reservation whatsoever for the graduates of Delhi university or the residents of Delhi.

Foreign Students: Foreign students studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in the FMS Admission Test. For all other foreign students, submission of GMAT Scores is mandatory.

Selection Procedure
Applications for admission to various programmes are invited through advertisements in major national newspapers. Application forms are distributed to interested candidates on payment of the application fees. The filled-in application forms are to be sent to the Administrative Officer, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 for further processing.

The eligible applicants will be called for a written test, and on the basis of their performance in the test, they will be called for an interview, an ex-tempore and a group discussion. The candidates will be required to produce their original certificates and mark-sheets at the time of the interview. The final list of candidates selected to the program will be announced after conducting all the interviews.

How to Apply
The admission forms along with relevant Information Bulletin will be available from the designated branches of State Bank of India from 10.10.2005 to 28.11.2005 on cash payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST category). Applicants must enclose the bank counterfoil with the application. Application forms can also be obtained from the office of Faculty of Management Studies, North Campus & South Campus against a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST category).

If required BY POST, send request for the admission form to the Administrative Officer, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110 007 enclosing a non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 575/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST category).

Admission forms can be downloaded from the website. Downloaded forms must be submitted along with the bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST category). Applicants belonging to reserved categories must submit the copy of the relevant certificate along with application forms.

Note:
(1) Incomplete forms / forms without bank drafts will not be entertained.
(2) The bank draft must be drawn in favour of the "Registrar, University of Delhi" payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch (Code No. 7687).
(3) Completed forms should be sent to Administrative Officer, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110 007.
(4) FMS reserves the right to change or cancel any of the test centers at its own discretion.
(5) Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi will not be responsible for any postal delay.
(6) All matters of dispute would be subject to the legal jurisdiction of Delhi only.
(7) Candidates, if interested in both programmes, must apply separately.
