Popularly known as SIMS (Defence), was established in 1993 to be a Management Institute with a difference. Started to serve the noble cause of Defence Personnel, SIMS is an autonomous, non-profit Management Institute established by the Symbiosis Society.

Eligibility
Open to graduate children/ dependents of serving personnel/ ex-servicemen from Army/ Airforce/ Navy/ IDS, with minimum of 50% marks from a recognised University. Candidates completing their final examination of the Bachelor's Degree by 30th June 2006 can apply provisionally: -

Seats are available for industry sponsored candidates who may / may not be dependents of defence personnel. Graduates with minimum 50% marks must be sponsored by a company.

Selection Procedure

Selection would be based on
(a) Applicant's performance in the SNAP TEST 2005 (www.snaptest.org)
(b) Personality assessment
(c) Relevant work experience
(d) Past academic record

How to Apply
Appear for SNAP Test on Sunday, December 18, 2005.
Simultaneouly apply to SIMS.
Prospectus of college including Application form available from Admissions Office, SIMS, on payment of Rs. 1050/- by Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Director, SIMS’ payable at Pune. (add Rs 50/- for courier charges).
Application form can also be downloaded from website (www.sims.edu) and submitted along with Demand Draft of Rs. 1100/- as above.

Last Date for Registration for SNAP: November 26, 2005
SNAP Examination: December 18, 2005
Last Date for receipt of completed Applications for SIMS: January 06, 2006
Declaration of SNAP Score: January 11, 2006
Shortlisting of candidates for GD & PI: January 17, 2006
